My new oil painting entitled The Liberator! (with exclamation point) is finally finished up.  The painting took me close to two months, and a few hundred hours to complete, but I think it was well worth it.  This piece, along with Just Beyond the Garden, are my two latest pieces, and both show the direction that my work is headed, as well as some new tricks and techniques that I'm trying to perfect.
     I'll be beginning my next piece within a few days.  I'm really excited about getting started on it.  It's going to be a symmetrical piece with an unusual flock of birds as the subject matter...

The Liberator! is finished and The Liberator! is fantastic. Great work!! It was a pleasure to see it in person.

Thanks! Working hard on my next piece now. To the point of giving myself headaches from concentrating on the canvas so intently.
